Return Policy

We want all our customers to be 100% satisfied!  We have a 30-day return policy on items that you are not satisfied with. When your order arrives, please look at your item(s) to verify that you’ve received them complete and undamaged. Kit and Block of the Month fabric pieces are folded in and nested with each other – please unfold the fabric and pull each piece apart to make sure you have everything listed on the pattern/package. If your order is incorrect, damaged, or incomplete, please contact us before returning an item so that we can provide additional instructions and expedite your return process.

Unfortunately, we will not be able to replace, reship or refund if we are not notified within those 30 days. Refunds are issued once returns are received and processed in the form of store credit. Refunds will not be given for shipping charges. Refunds for refused or abandoned packages will be at our discretion.

Items must be unopened and in new condition. Any shipping on returns will be at the expense of the buyer. A shipping confirmation is recommended, as we cannot be responsible for items lost by the post office. Along with your return, please include a copy of your receipt.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned:

  • Gift Cards

  • Downloadable digital products and patterns

  • Fabrics that have been cut, dyed, washed, or contain odors

  • Sale items

  • Patterns and books may not be returned due to copyright laws

  • Any items that show sign of use

Cancelation of orders prior to shipping will result in a 5% restocking fee, including orders placed for “pre-orders” for new product launches.

No refunds are available if the registered student is unable to attend the live class/program or watch the recorded link within the allocated three-day period. All non-registered students are prohibited from access to the class/program (live or recorded) and materials.

In-Person Class and Program Policy

Around the Block prepares class materials and makes a time commitment in for classes/programs, therefore, refunds are only available when a cancellation is made at least one week prior to the first class, less a $10 handling fee.
